Zorgfuik collects experiences and signatures to reveal where people get stuck between healthcare, municipalities, mental health services, social support, Veilig Thuis, UWV, insurers, waiting lists and rules. Trust comes first: we never ask for more than we need.
Every dot is someone who asked for help.
Pick a theme and see whether you recognise the pattern. Not a complaints desk, explanation and direction.
The care trap has to stop claiming victims.
Not because care professionals are unwilling to help. Not because people are too difficult. But because the system is so fragmented that, too often, no one sees the whole picture any more.
People disappear between waiting lists, forms, handovers, desks and responsibilities that always sit just somewhere else. Meanwhile, the person who needs help is forced to become the project manager of their own emergency.
That is not normal. That is not humane. And it must not be allowed to continue.
Many people who recognise the care trap have had their trust broken too many times already. So here, in plain terms, is what happens when you sign the petition and how we handle stories and data.
The petition runs through the official Dutch petition platform. Zorgfuik does not build a shady signature database of its own.
Your name and email address are not visible to outside visitors. No public list, no digital pillory.
The recipient, for instance the Dutch House of Representatives, may need certain details to verify that signatures are genuine, not duplicated or fraudulent.
Experiences are not forwarded to doctors, municipalities, insurers, care providers, Veilig Thuis or any other organisation.
Stories are only ever shared anonymised or summarised. Names, case files and identifying details are not needed to reveal patterns.
We know how often people have already been stuck, turned away or simply not believed. That is why we process no more than necessary.
I got stuck in the care system myself. Four months, with six years of history behind it, while I called, emailed, waited and called again. That is why Zorgfuik exists.
Read my story"If someone used to unravelling complexity still gets stuck, what does that mean for someone who doesn't speak the language, has no network, or simply has nobody standing beside them?"
What others went through. Do you recognise the pattern?
Three years from waiting list to waiting list. Starting over every time, explaining everything again every time. Until I no longer knew which door to knock on.
Everything was applied for, everything approved. And still I was left to manage on my own. Nobody checked whether the support actually arrived.
A care trap forms when someone seeks help but becomes ever more entangled in referrals, waiting times, forms, handovers, rejections and organisations that each see only part of the problem.
This is not about one angry complaint. It is about recurring patterns that need to become visible.
βA case file can keep growing while the solution comes no closer at all.β
Tell us freely what happened. It does not need to be perfectly worded, Zorgfuik distils the patterns from the stories later.

Sometimes you do not search for the system, but for your own situation. These pages show, from lived experience, how people get stuck, and the pattern behind it.
