What began as a personal story about getting stuck in the care system now gets a solid base. A foundation with which we can make care traps visible, collect stories and work towards change.
Building an independent place costs money: a reliable website, hosting, the establishment and the first steps of the foundation. That is why a fundraising campaign has started on GoFundMe. Every contribution, large or small, helps to keep Zorgfuik independent.
Zorgfuik is about a simple idea: showing where people get stuck in the care system, so those patterns no longer stay invisible. Not a separate complaints desk, but a place that collects patterns and makes them discussable.
As a foundation that can be done independently and transparently. Without commercial interests, without a single person carrying the whole weight. The foundation form makes it possible to be accountable, to work together with others and, in time, to build something that lasts.
The first contributions go to the basics needed to start seriously: reliable hosting and further development of the website, the costs of establishing and registering the foundation, and making the initiative visible so more people can share their story.
