The biggest barrier is not always the minute it takes. Often, it is trust. Many people have already experienced data, case files or their own words being turned against them. So here is the plain explanation.
Your signature is not shown to ordinary visitors as a public list of names. You are not signing in order to be made identifiable online.
When a petition is submitted, the recipient, for instance the Dutch House of Representatives, may inspect or spot-check details to prevent fraud or fake signatures.
Zorgfuik does not collect any additional details through a petition form of its own. The petition runs through the short link to Petities.nl.
We know that for many people, trust has already been damaged. That is why we store and process no more than necessary. Stories shared with Zorgfuik are used in anonymised form to reveal patterns.
The petition calls for independent ownership with mandate, protection, and research into where people get stuck.
